Matt Wallace

Happy Monday!

And welcome back to the 35th edition of the #witbweekly newsletter.

A quiet week took us to the wind-swept Swiss mountains to contest the European Masters at the famed Crans-sur-Sierre resort. Matt Wallace secured his first victory on the DPWT in 6 years and in a typically passionate post-win interview declared his intent on making the 2025 European Ryder Cup team following the heart break of not being selected for the 2018 instalment at Le Golf National, France. Matt showed some steely golf, especially in 30mph winds during Saturday’s round, and birdied the first playoff hole against Alfredo Garcia-Heredia to secure the title (and the rizzy red-jacket)

Enjoy Matt’s bag and we’ll be back next week with a bumper edition:

After a lengthy 1 week layoff on the PGA Tour the season-long Fedex Cup resumes at the Procore Championship whilst LIV wakes from it’s mid-season slumber to begin their final events of the season in Chicago. The DPWT hosts a stellar field including Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry at this week’s Irish Open as the 2024 Race To Dubai begins to build pace:
