Xander Schauffele, Nelly Korda, Alexandra Forsterling

Xander gets it done (finally) and Nelly does it (again)…

Congrats to our winners this week who almost exclusively use Callaway, Taylormade and Ping setups (bar a couple of Scottys’ thrown in for good measure)

Quick🔥5

🔥Xander’s gains’: Xander led the field at the PGA Championship in Strokes Gained (SG) Greens in Regulation and Birdies made and was 2nd (to Justin Thomas) in SG Tee-to-Green. Imperious form and a resounding bounceback from last week’s crushing to Rory McIlory

🔥SM6-SM10: Xander finally updated his positively antique 56° sand wedge from a near decade old Vokey SM6 to the latest SM10 offering putting it to great effect around the greens at Valhalla

🔥 Nelly’s settled: What else can we say about Nelly’s setup other than why change a winning formula? 6 wins in her last 7 starts; you would need a seriously good excuse to be tinkering with that setup!

🔥Golf Pride dominates (as per): all 3 winners had Golf Pride grips in play this week with Xander gaming the MCC align model whilst the ladies both preferred the classic Tour Velvets

🔥Scottys prove too tempting: most high profile players will have an equipment deal with a manufacturer but will often only sign up to an 11 club-deal to allow some flexibility to experiment with other brands; for Nelly and Alexandra they both use this type of deal to put the revered putting brand, Scotty Cameron, into their setups.

This week sees the resumption of action on the DPWT heading to Belgium whilst the ladies head to France on the LET for the Jabra Ladies Open. No event on the LPGA this week:

Feel free to get in touch on socials and direct your friends to witb.com/subscribe to join the party! Have a great week.

Peace X
