I can’t believe this as I type but it’s reported that Leona Maguire is the 1st Irish golfer EVER to win on the Ladies European Tour (!?), securing a 1 shot victory in the Aramco Team Series London event held at the Centurion Club. Well done Leona! (and about time Ireland!! 🇮🇪)

Glasgow’s Ewen Ferguson won his 3rd DPWT event in Munich, cutting an emotional figure on the 18th green as he stamped his ticket to this weeks co-sanctioned Scottish Open at The Renaissance Club and more importantly next weeks Open Championship at Troon - which is surely a home-game for the west-coast lad? 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 

Continuing the theme of teary-eyes on the 18th green, Davis Thomson, whose frequently haunted appearance broke cover to unleash a never before seen display of emotion (and rib-shattering hug to his poor wife), secured his first PGA Tour win at the John Deere Classic. Davis will need to dust off his passport as he’ll also be playing Links golf on the other side of the Atlantic for the next two weeks 🇺🇸
