Despite a spirited European comeback on Day 3, and the Number 1 player in the world getting ‘smoked’ by Charley Hull, Team USA broke the recent cycle of European domination with a convincing 15.5-12.5 win at the Solheim Cup. Team USA MVP, Rose Zhang, went 4-0, the joint highest return from an individual in Solheim Cup history.

Elsewhere, Jon Rahm clinched LIV’s individual title in Chicago and looks to finally be getting into his stride on the breakaway tour. Patton Kizzire ended a 6-year victory drought on the PGA Tour by winning the Procore Championship and Rasmus Hojgaard produced a stunning 65, including two (!) back 9 chip-ins, to pip home-town favourite Rory McIlroy to the Amgen Irish Open.
