Louis Oosthuizen’s Golf Bag Setup

Louis Oosthuizen relies on the Ping G430 LST driver to maximize distance and control off the tee. Meridoe Golf Club, a private course located in Texas, is renowned for its challenging design, which incorporates a mix of narrow fairways, large bunkers, and undulating greens. The course’s firm conditions and potential wind factor make it critical for players to control their ball flight and execute accurate shots. For Oosthuizen, whose game thrives on precision, the setup of Meridoe could play into his strengths, particularly if he relies on his Ping G430 LST driver and reliable iron play to navigate the course’s difficulties.

Given the firm and fast nature of Meridoe, Oosthuizen might need to adjust his approach, potentially relying more heavily on his woods for positioning and using his wedges to handle tight greenside lies. His Ping 7-wood will likely come in handy for higher, controlled shots into the greens, while his Ping and Vokey wedges will be key for managing difficult approaches and bunker play.

As for his chances in LIV Dallas, Oosthuizen remains a favorite for both individual and team success.
